Childbirth emergencies are mostly preventable — with a prepared team.

We address obstructed labour, post-partum haemorrhage and birth asphyxia — the emergencies that together cause close to a million deaths each year.

About ONE-Sim

Founded by two doctors who refused to accept preventable loss.

ONE-Sim was founded and is spearheaded by Dr Arunaz Kumar and Dr Atul Malhotra, who have run the program since 2016 with workshops now operating across Asia, Africa and the Pacific.

ONE-Sim gives local healthcare professionals — doctors, nurses, midwives and students — hands-on education in complex childbirth and newborn care, using simple, portable simulation technology.

Through "Train the Trainer" workshops, we empower local staff to keep teaching within their own workplaces. The program is fully funded by philanthropic grants and community support.
